Joyce Whitaker has been associated with cheer and dance for over 30 years. She has worked in various roles to include high school, college, semi pro dance coach and college spirit coordinator.
The camp series founded principal was “Give Back” to the local cheer & dance community by planning affordable instructional opportunities for individual and teams looking for a camp experience that was not only was affordable but provided a cutting edge curriculum.
Though the camp series has taken on many names but the traditions have remain the same! Joyce currently stays current as a judge for cheer and dance.
Michelle has been associated with cheerleading for over 20 years. She has worked in various roles to include high school, and college. Michelle was also a judge for many years.
She is the brains beyond the stellar curriculum the athletes and coaches enjoy year after year. Michelle’s mantra has been inspire young athletes at an affordable price and RRU has kept that going!

Caillen French started her school cheer career at Wayne High School. She cheered her freshman year on freshman football and her sophomore-senior year on varsity football and varsity competition. As a Wayne cheerleader, Caillen was named to the GWOC All-Central cheer team her junior (2nd team) and senior (1st team) year. After high school Caillen made the Wright State cheer team her freshman year and has been an instructor for the Raider Spirit Camps ever since. During her time as a Wright State cheerleader, Caillen competed at NCA Collegiate Nationals 3 times, cheered on the Men’s basketball team at the 2018 NCAA Men’s basketball tournament and was awarded two team awards: Raider Award (2015-2016 season) and MVP (2016-2017) season. Before her time as a cheerleader, Caillen was a competitive gymnast for 11 years and was the 2013 Ohio State All-Around champion for her age group and level.
